My Approach
WHAT IS COPY AND LINE EDITING?
A thorough review of the manuscript that focusing on the stylistic and structural aspects of the manuscript.
Focus on plot, character development, pacing, and toning.
Look for issues with flow and clarity of the writing.
Provide feedback, suggestions, and rewrites at the sentence and paragraph level.
Refine sentence structure, word choice, and readability.
Notes will be returned in the Google Doc format with highlighted areas that need attention.
Copy and line edits will include grammar, punctuation, sentence errors, etc. It’s recommended to have copy and line edits completed after developmental editing.
I will perform one read-through of the manuscript.
Turnaround time of 30 days. Expedited read-through is available for an additional fee.

What is my pricing?
Cost determined by manuscript length
- $75 for short stories (up to 9,999 words)
- $100 for novelettes (10,000-17,499 words)
- $150 for novellas (17,500-39,999 words)
- $200+ for novels (40,000-100,000 words)

The cost for novels with more than 100,000 words will be determined by the additional word count.
Half of the final cost is due at the time of the agreement. The remaining half will be due before the delivery of edit notes.
